Our Hockey Fest Events
For the first year we have signed up to join in the hockey fest events being run accross the county. These events give you chance to join in and see what our club is all about as well as giving the club a good excuse to get together and have a fun social event or two.
The events are all fun, social and even give you chance to join in and play some mini games. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never been to a hockey club before, a friendly welcome can be guaranteed.
Our events are open to everyone, irrelevant of age or experience. It's not important if you have never played hockey before all the more reason to come along... taking up hockey is a great opportunity to make new friends and get regular exercise in a fun and sociable environment. And you'll love the satisfaction of scoring your first goal!
If you have played before at whatever level then come along and check out the Club and members or watch a friendly game.
We will be welcoming new players, volunteers and officials as well as providing an opportunity for seasoned members to catch up with each other.
28th - 29th August Euro Finals - Team Social event
Booking now closed for this trip.
Overnight team trip to London, meal and drinks in London Saturday afternoon. Followed by a full day watching the Eurobet ladies hockey finals at the olyimpic stadium.
Saturday 5th September - 11am Rutland Sport Park
Want to know more about hockey? Come along and support Ilkeston in a full 11 a-side friendly match against Nottingham Players.
Team members and supports will given you a warm welcome and answer any questions you have about the game or our club.
After the game we will be heading to the Bulls Head for food and drinks. You are welcome to join us and the opposition and chat with the team in a more relaxed evniroment.
Make sure you watch the game closely as we will ask you for a man of the match vote!

Everyone welcome to join in our mini games evening.
It's all about having fun, come along and be part of a mini team of 6.
You never know you might score! We can provide stick if you have not got one.
