Can You Make Hockey Happen?
A small team of volunteers donate their time each week support and run our club.
Without our volunteers the club simply would not be here.
Whether its supporting us from the side lines or organising behind the scences we appreciate all the support they provide.
If you’re passionate about helping out, have a few hours to spare then volunteering might be the way for you to make a difference!
You can:
-
Be a fundraiser

-
Organise schools competitions and festivals
-
Umpire
-
Be the social media champion
-
Be the Club Welfare Officer
These are just a few of the roles needed that make hockey happen – all run by volunteers…could this be you?
UMPIRING
Taking control of a hockey game and ensuring that the rules of the game are upheld is key to an umpire’s job, but that's just the start.
An umpire is responsible for managing the hockey game. They uphold the rules, ensure fair play and provide a duty of care for players.
Hockey is a fast-paced game and occasionally passions can rise and it's the umpire's job to spot this and stay on top of it.
We have a regular umpire however we need more umpires!
If you would like to join the club as an umpire. Please get in touch we have plenty of matches for you to be part of.

Coaching – Make it happen on the pitch!
Playing hockey is a great thing to do and many people find that coaching hockey can be hugely rewarding experience. A great coach doesn’t necessarily have to be a highly skilled player.
As a coach you have the ability to inspire and enthuse all generations to get involved and stay involved in hockey.
Being a coach means having an understanding and passion for hockey as a whole.
