Christmas Friendly Matches
December 2016

To finishes our year the club played their final matches of the year in full festive spirit in tinsel and santa hats against Belper HC.
Brand New - Mixed Team
September - December 2016

Through back to hockey a few men joined our club. Not quite enough for a Mens team, so with our back to hockey ladies we created a Mixed team. From September they played a range of different friendly matches clubs across, Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.

Impressive to see how players and team have improved their hockey skills in such a short period of time. Team have entered a mini mixed league due to start in January 2017

With plans to form a ladies 2nd team in 2017.

Lucky for us we have a trained goal keeper coach on hand to help Emma develop her techniques.
New Hockey Season begins.....

This has to be our best ever start to a hockey season. Number of new people attending our hockey sessions reached new heights. England team winning gold at Olympics had definitely sparked the interest for people to get back to playing hockey.
Fantastic for the club to see so many people from Long Eaton, Nottingham, Ilkeston, Breaston, Heanor and areas outside Erewash enjoying themselves on a Monday evening.
Each person had their our story about how and why they stopped playing. Over the weeks the coach / players encouraged and supported people from Erewash back to hockey.

With the new members joining this meant the club formed the 11 -a-side mixed team.
​
The club is hoping continue to recruit more ladies to create a 2nds ladies team in 2017.
